To kick things off for this blog, I'm creating a "live," follow-along case study by creating a new site and using SEO to drive traffic and grow the project. I haven't done any planning, research, or given this new site much thought at all as of this writing. I'll be posting about it and adding to this case study as I go so you can follow along and hopefully gain some new insight and ideas for generating traffic to your web site (or creating a new one!).
Let's start with a general overview of the process. It's divided up into five parts with brief descriptions for each one: Continue Reading...

green room \'grēn-,rüm, - ,rüm\
noun
a room (as in a theater or studio) where performers can relax before or after appearances
Welcome to the Green Room, a.k.a. the Backstage Interactive blog. In theater, like the definition above says, the green room is where the actors stay before and after performances, and basically any time during the show when they aren't on stage.
The idea behind this blog is very similar. It's a place to hang out, relax, talk, and share ideas about online marketing, web design and development, and anything related. I'll take it a step further and say that it's a place to experiment. More on that in a minute. Continue Reading...

The post What is the Green Room? appeared first on Backstage Interactive.
